Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Fossick and this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We test every page with automated accessibility tools and by hand on phones and desktop browsers, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we have done
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images marked so screen readers skip them
- Color contrast that meets WCAG AA for text and controls
- Every page works with a keyboard, with visible focus and a skip link to the main content
- Touch targets sized for fingers, and text that resizes without breaking the page
- A Pause motion button for the animated illustrations, and no motion at all if your device is set to reduce motion
- Clear headings, labels and page titles
Known limitations
Some links lead to websites we do not control, such as news articles, auction results and marketplaces. Their accessibility is up to their owners.
Tell us about a problem
If anything on this site or in the app is hard to use, email admin@lumewatch.us with the page and what happened. We reply within two business days, and we can give you the information in another format while we fix it.
